Password Reset
1) In the Username field enter your Student ID number and select "I forgot my password".
2) On the right you will see "Login - Reset password". Input your SVU email address (usually first.last@svu.edu) and click "send". Please note that even if you put in the wrong Email it will say that it has sent, but it will not actually send the email. 3) Wait a few minutes and then check your SVU email for the link to reset your password.
The link will take you to the window to reset your password. Please choose a unique password and keep it confidential as this is a site that manages some financial transactions and other sensitive identifiable information. It may be easier to keep track of your passwords if you store them in a password-protected password management system like Keypass, Keychain, Last Pass, etc.
The password reset token is only valid for one hour after you initiate this process. If you have not reset the password within the 60 minute limit you will receive the following error: An error occurred verifying the reset token. Please contact your System Administrator. At this point restart the process to receive a new link.
