Solutions to architects and technicians - both of these terms mean many things to many people for a simple reason - they are set independently based on the contextual needs of different industries.

This is how I watched both roles:

Solution architect

Is the person who designs the solution and in many cases leads to the solution delivery process

Is the person who designs technical solutions and in many cases leads and manages the technology delivery process

Technical architects have technology prejudices to solve problems that architects have no prejudice other than solutions!
The solution architect may solve the problem by hiring a technical architect if the specific technology is not her expertise. There are some exceptions. Generally, technical architects will not do that.
Technic architects are more than individual actors who have technology prejudices to solve problems.
The role of the architect is the role that influences anything other than the solution to the problem.
